Volcanic earth and sulfuric subterranean roots ignite with the peppery fires of the Underworld, where jeweled pomegranate arils promise rebirth through transformation. The deepest darkest of resins - attars of oud, black musk and labdanum - set aflame with buchu and black pepper EOs, buried within earth and oakmoss, with atmospheric touches of smoke and ISO E Super, scattered with a few seeds of rufescent pomegranate.

For decades, people have asked me to create a set of zodiac perfumes, and I've always declined. A fragrance created for just one sign automatically excludes 11/12ths of the potential audience, as most people would be unlikely to explore beyond the fragrance for their own sign.

Everything changed when astrologer Ethan Huls suggested creating perfumes for the planets instead of the zodiac signs - enabling people to wear a perfume based on their entire natal chart, rather than just their birthday. A natal chart is much more than your Sun Sign. It's a unique blueprint based on your birth date, time, and place, revealing the planetary influences that make you who you are. By combining these planetary archetypes according to your own chart, you create a scent that uniquely expresses YOU. EARTH ~ Grounding, centering, protection, renewal, reincarnation, life.
SMOKE ~ In addition to the attributes of whatever is being burned (resins, woods, etc), smoke is for cleansing, purification, renewal, consecration, concealment and celebration. It is also the foremost mode of communication from this world to the realm of spirits and the gods.
BUCHU OIL ~ Spiritual cleansing, divine protection, consecration, fresh beginnings, transitions, removes negative energy.
BLACK PEPPER ~ Protection, fidelity, dispels envy and evil, exorcism, breaks hexes.
