All during the month of May, Love Potion is hosting fun events to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. We have all been touched by cancer, and "Meow For Life" recognizes the comfort our feline companions provide for us by purring in our laps or allowing us to serve them properly. They help get us thru ruff times.
Retablo are Mexican folk art typically seen as memorials to loved ones on the other side. We will be creating Retablo in Shadow Boxes. It can be a memorial or a sweet creation with a photo of your pet or a loved one, or just a picture or object you fancy. I will have lots of backgrounds, cool images, and doodads to add to your Retablo. Bring a photo or image or use one of mine. Image should be about 3.5 inches tall or less. We can color it and make it fancy in class. If you have doodads you want to include, the inside is about 1” deep. We need about an hour for this craft. $25 fee. ~ Ann Marie

Every Wednesday at Love Potion, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, our space is open to all who are curious about learning, discussing, and practicing the magickal arts. Bring your decks, books, and crafts, share knowledge, ask questions, and connect with like-minded new friends. We have plenty of fun crafts and learning activities planned throughout the year, and we always welcome suggestions for what you’d like us to teach, or even offers to teach alongside us. These are relaxed, come-and-go days, with crafts and instructions repeating throughout the day so you can join whenever it suits you. Enjoy self-serve coffee, tea, and snacks while you hang out — come on over and sit a spell!
